Giovanni Guzman
Giovanni is a marine biologist with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Geology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and a Master of Science from James Cook University, Australia, one of the best schools in the world for marine biology.
Having grown up in Puerto Rico, he has more than 15 years of underwater experience, from the Great Barrier Reef and the Galápagos to the Maldives, Costa Rica and Mexico. He is an environmentalist, ocean advocate, freediver, content creator and photographer, with one main goal: to change the misconceptions people have about marine life, especially sharks.

Puerto Rico is world famous for its beaches, but little is known about the marine life that surrounds us. Our mission is for people to enter the sea and respectfully interact with that life, and to show that our waters are as rich as many of the best diving spots in the world.
The same idea takes us around the planet: small groups, local captains, ethical encounters and moments that change the way you see the ocean.

Our Puerto Rico adventures start on a brand new World Cat 280CC-X, a 28 ft luxury console catamaran for smooth rides, stability and comfort. It meets all coast guard regulations and safety requirements, with plenty of space and easy access to the water.
